Spirit Mountain offers a wide variety of programs for Alpine, Freestyle, Snowboard and Nordic enthusiasts who want to dial the action up a notch or two.  

2021 Spirit Mountain Friday Night Adult Race League

Socially distance yourself this winter at the top of Spirit Mountain with a professionally organized adult race league. All abilities and no experience needed, have a blast with your friends racing in a relaxed, affordable atmosphere, whether you are a skier, rider or telemarker. We will base our racing and post-race fun on Spirit Mountain’s COVID policy.

League Format:

Teams – 7 to 8 members

GS runs (best of first 2 runs count toward team/individual points)

Teams and racers compete for race/team points throughout the season.  Split Second timing used for individual and team members also earn points for their team by participating in each race.  There will be bonus team points on “theme nights”.

No Team, No Worries.  We will place you on a team.

Racing takes place Friday nights, from 5:00-7:30pm on Bull Wacker/Blue Ruin (7).

Race League Fees:

$80 with a Season Pass

$160 without a season pass.  Non-Season pass holders will be need to reserve and pick-up their “Friday Night Race League” pass each Friday at the Upper Chalet (Bear Paw) ticket counter.

Must be 18 years of age by 12/31/20 to race.

Must have a Helmet.

Team Duluth 

Team Duluth is the racing and competition team associated with Spirit Mountain.  Team Duluth is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is One Team for ALL disciplines.  Team members’ ages range from For additional information and details visit HERE.  

Team Duluth is committed to: 

  • Developing skiing and snowboarding skills and personal growth in young athletes.
  • Helping young athletes develop their skiing and/or snowboarding ability while striving to be a positive influence on personal development.
  • Offering affordable training and competition programs and events.  
  • Enabling young athletes to choose their training and racing intensity.  Competition is not obligatory, but it sure is FUN!  

NASTAR Racing

We will not be running NASTAR for the 20/21 season.

Season Pass Pickup will take place at the Skyline Chalet from 12:00p-6:30p Wed-Fri 11/3-12/2 and 12/7-12/9. You can also pick up your pass 9:30a-4p Sat and Sun during operations. Please help expedite the process and save time in line by entering your data and signing required waivers online for yourself and your family; a description of how to do this was emailed to pass holders.
