Operations update: Closed today, Saturday, March 15th.

We were watching two factors overnight last: the temperatures, which remained high, and the rain. Spirit received roughly half an inch of rain on an already wet surface without any ability to firm up. It's a rough decision today but in order to preserve the snow and continue the season, closing the hill is the best option.

Today, forecasts say the temperature will drop and the snow surface should firm up. Those dropping temps should allow us to have the snow in good shape for tomorrow. This is a reminder that the Beginner area (Bunny Hill) will be closed tomorrow as we make snow in preparation for @snocross.

Monday starts our Spring hours and it should be a great week of riding!!

Weekend Operations Update ❄️

Hey everyone! We’re closely watching the forecast, which calls for rain tonight followed by colder temps on Sunday. Warm overnight temps could impact conditions, so we’ll make a decision about Saturday’s 3/15 operations by 8 AM. Stay tuned to our social feeds and Mountain Message for updates.

Bunny Hill & Beginner Terrain Closure:

On Sunday, 3/16, Bunny Hill and beginner terrain at Skyline Chalet will be closed. We know this may affect lessons and groups, and we’ll contact scheduled lessons directly. If your group is impacted, please contact us at in**@sp******.com.

The good news? Those colder temps will help us make fresh snow for SnoCross in April! 🏁❄️

Operations Update: Spring hours begin this coming Monday, March 17th. (Bonus hour opening at 9am each day!!) Conditions have been spring-like and great! Our groomers work hard each night to keep the hill in the best shape possible, and we remain 100% open.

We know the next question on everyone's minds will be; "When is closing day?" At this time, closing day is TBD. We will be watching the weather and the conditions on the hill and let you know when we know. All hours are weather-dependent and subject to change.

Also, just a reminder that SMASH has been postponed until Saturday, March 22, due to a wet forecast for Saturday!

We are open and it's going to be a great Saturday out on the mountain! Currently the Lone Oak Rope is not open as our mechanics are diligently working to resolve a mechanical issue. We anticipate that the Lone Oak Rope Tow will be opening later today.
