The Adventure Park is open 10 AM – 5 PM all weekend long! 🎢🌲☀️
The Bike Park will reopen today and is expected to stay open through the weekend. After a week of frequent rain, many trails still need more time to fully dry and recover. We’ll start the day with a limited number of trails open, with more added as conditions improve and our crew is able to access them.

Operations Update for Thursday 7/24: Bike Park Closed | Adventure Park & Scenic Lift Open
The bike park will be closed on Thursday due to heavy rainfall. The trails were still saturated from the previous week's rain and will need time to dry out before they’re safe to ride. Our crew will be out inspecting, and we’ll share updates on weekend operations as conditions allow.
The Adventure Park will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM, and the Scenic Lift will run from 11 AM to 5 PM — — it should be a great day to zip, slide, and take in the views!

It’s go time! The Bike Duluth Festival kicks off today, and Spirit Mountain is the center of it all. From high-speed racing to laid-back riding, this weekend is a celebration of bikes, community, and Duluth’s incredible trail system.

You’re welcome, too! Spirit Mountain’s trails are open all weekend for non-racers; however, please note that some trails will be closed during active race times. Watch for signage, course marshals, and trail updates to plan your ride and stay safe.

Camping is available right at the Skyline Chalet in Lots A, B, and C. Find a spot, set up, and roll into the festival from the trails near the woods line. Or drive to the Grand Avenue base — it’s about a 10-minute trip.

2-Hour Delay for Bike Park today, Thursday, July 17th
The Bike Park will open at 1PM today (closing at 7PM) to give our trails a little extra time to dry out. Our trail crew has been out since this morning working hard—opening drains and inspecting conditions after the rain. The trails just need a little more time to get things dialed in for a great ride.
While you wait, the Adventure Park is open from 10AM-5PM and Scenic Chairlift Rides are open from 11AM–7PM—perfect for a little pre-ride fun.

Time: 5:30–7:30 PM (Park access included all three nights)
Join our signature women’s-only mountain bike program, led by certified female coaches. Designed to build confidence and skills in a supportive, fun environment. Perfect for beginner to intermediate riders—this isn’t an intense downhill clinic, but a safety-focused, skills-based experience that gets you out on the trails.

The Adventure Park, including the Scenic Lift, will remain open from 10 AM to 5 PM, so come on out to enjoy a scenic chairlift ride, alpine coaster, or mini golf.
