SMASH: Spirit Mountain Annual Spring Happening

Join us on March 14 for our annual Spring Happening, one of the most fun days of the season at Spirit Mountain. Celebrate spring skiing with live music at both the top and bottom of the hill, our iconic pond skimming event, costume contests, unique drink specials, and plenty of activities for all ages. Costumes are encouraged! Skiers who show up in a full costume can get a day ticket for only $45 (pickup before 11am).

Competitions

Rail Jam – 12:00 PM

Show off your park skills in our Spring Happening Rail Jam.
Online registration required. Prizes awarded.

Pond Skim – 2:00 PM

A Spirit Mountain classic. Ski, snowboard, or tele across the pond (if you can).
Online registration required. Prizes awarded.

Free Activities

Silly Slalom – 11:00 AM (Bunny Hill)
Kids race through a silly obstacle course on the bunny hill. A live announcer will narrate every twist and turn for maximum entertainment.

Kids Activities – 11:00 AM–1:00 PM (Eagles Nest)
Family-friendly fun including:
• Duck Find Game
• Face Painting
• Snow Cones

Costume Contest – 1:30 PM (Bottom of Lone Oak Rope Tow)
Break out your best spring ski costumes for a chance to win prizes.

Medallion Hunt – 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
Search the mountain for the hidden medallion and claim the prize if you find it first.
