Opening Day: Sunday, November 30, 2025
Spirit Mountain is excited to welcome skiers and snowboarders back for the start of the 2025–26 winter season. The Spirit Express Lift will officially open for the season on Sunday, November 30, running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thanks to continued snowmaking efforts and favorable overnight temperatures, guests will have access to Powder Monkey, Bindle Stiff, and Downhill Musher on opening weekend. At this time, the bunny hill, terrain park, tubing hill, and nordic center will remain closed as the team builds additional snow coverage.
Spirit Mountain will resume snowmaking throughout the week and plans to reopen again the following weekend, with additional terrain coming online as conditions allow.
Ticketing, Pass Pickup & Rentals
The Skyline Chalet ticket office will open from 10am-2pm on Saturday for those who want to grab their season pass early. The Grand Avenue Chalet and Skyline Chalet ticket offices will be open starting at 9:30am on Sunday.
Rentals will be available exclusively at the Skyline Chalet on opening weekend.
Food & Beverage
Both Riverside Bar & Grill and the Skyline Cafe will be open, offering warm meals, drinks, and a place to relax between laps.
Nordic & Tubing Updates
- Nordic Center: Snowmakers are ready, but recent temperatures at the bottom of the hill have been too warm to build a deep enough base. Nordic snowmaking will continue as soon as conditions allow.
- Tubing Hill: Tubing requires a significant snow base to ensure a fast, fun, and safe experience. Tubing is not yet open; snowmaking efforts will shift to tubing after primary downhill terrain is established.
Highline Chairlift Update
Spirit Mountain’s brand-new Highline 4-person chairlift is nearing completion. The lift will open to the public once there is sufficient snowpack on its side of the mountain. The team is eager to debut the new lift for the community this season.
