Our trail crews have been hard at work this summer, and several guest favorites are riding better than ever. Greenman, Moonman, The Things, and Candyland have all received major updates, including rebuilt features, refreshed trail surfaces, and improvements designed to create a smoother, more enjoyable ride experience.
The Things – This spring, we focused on the bottom half of Thing 1 and Thing 2, and we just finished rebuilding he top portion. We adjusted the curves to make them wider to help keep speed through the trail and restacked the jumps to make them nice and crispy. Now that the rebuild is finished, the trails are now just called The Things and are no longer separated out into Thing 1 and Thing 2.
Candyland – Last summer we rebuilt the top half of the the trail to Skyline. This year, we’ve focused on the bottom half. This is a total realignment with the trail venturing into new zones. Corners were a bit tight and so we opened up the radiuses to make them easier to navigate and maintain speed.
Moonman – We have one section that has historically claimed a few bikes each year. Our goal was to make it safer to ride by cleaning up the landing. We removed about 20 trees and opened up the landing so riders can hit the trail with less possibility of a fallout.
Greenman – In the summer of 2025, we closed Greenman for the entire season during the construction of the new Highline Lift. This OG favorite is now open again with some new realignments around the tower bases.
Calculated Risk – Some of the rocks have moved with the rough riding on the trail. We smoothed out some of the jagged and sharp corners that were prone to catching riders. Now it is still difficult rough riding, but not sharp.
Black Jump Line – We are still working hard to finish the final section of our new Black Jump Line. This section will have 2-3 new jumps that will be the largest on the entire hill. Keep an eye out for announcements that it is open!
