ATMORE Memorial Race
The Atmore Memorial is the premier FIS Slalom in the Central Division. Over its 38-year history, the race has developed a reputation as a first class event and as a result every year draws racers from coast-to-coast – including multiple Olympians, US Ski Team and Team America members. In addition, Spirit Mountain sits on the shore of Lake Superior, and the resulting high relative humidity and cold January temperatures typically make for bullet-proof snow, giving racers farther back in the pack virtually the same conditions as those in the draw.
