Friday- September 30 at 6am: Happy Friday! We're gearing up for an amazing weekend here at Spirit Mountain....looking at nearly perfect fall-like weather with lots of sunshine, temps in the 60s and many beautiful "colors" here around the region!
Our Bike Park and Adventure Park roll today 3pm-7pm.
The mountain bike trails are in absolutely PRIME condition due to the "buffing" efforts from the park crew this week, as well as the ideal moisture level for a firm, yet tacky surface....."hero" riding, as some might say...expect these conditions all weekend long! All trails are open, and should be a wonderful evening for a Scenic Chairlift ride as well. Friday is our finale for the "Get Bent" Downhill Race Series (thanks again to our friends at Bent Paddle Brewing Company and Continental Ski & Bike)..race at 6pm....and everyone come on out to the Grand Avenue Chalet for live music beginning at 6:30pm with Russ Sackett in our Riverside Bar and Grill.
It is also Family Fun Friday at the Adventure Park w/$19 unlimited tickets via our special do-it-all wristbands! Should be a superb session to hit the region's only alpine coaster, ride the zipline, get some air on the jumping pillow, putt a round or two of mini-golf and enjoy the best chairlift ride in the city!
Don't forget that special pricing on season passes rolls through October 4, 2016. Just added....purchase your 2017 Mountain Bike Pass and add on Winter Fat Biking for $99!
Please read previous posts for additional information on events, activities and specials, and as most are aware, it's....Good Times, Every Time here in Duluth!!
Thank you for choosing Spirit Mountain! We appreciate your continued support & patronage.
Monday, 26 September at 11:45am - We are glad to be finished with this past weekend of crazy weather! Our Friday & Saturday mountain bike sessions brought forth some of our best trail conditions of the entire season, and unfortunately, those pesky rains washed us out for Sunday. The Adventure Park provided many thrills and even a few chills throughout the weekend....but, certainly GOOD TIMES for all! Thank you to those that ventured out to see us, we appreciate your continued support & patronage to Spirit Mountain. Monday has sure ushered in a quite "fall-like" day here in Duluth and has us thinking about the beautiful colors and cooler temps. The trees are changing and the extended forecast (sunshine & mid/upper 60s!!) for the week ahead looks great once we get through these next couple of days! Make your plans now to join us for your Fall Adventures here in Duluth! A scenic chairlift ride is always beautiful, but even more so during the "color" season.
Please mark your calendars for a few upcoming events here on the hill:

9am Sunday Update: Unfortunately, our Bike Park and Chairlift Operations are suspended today due to saturated trails and inclement weather. Don't forget to purchase our Mountain Bike Season Pass for 2017 by October 4 for the lowest rates available. Our Adventure Park will operate 12noon to 6pm here on Sunday, and it does appear we shoud see some sunshine & temps into the mid-60s once this weather system passes through later this morning. Enjoy your day in Diuluth!!
Sunday, 25 September at 6:45am. We are waking up to a pretty wet Sunday here in Duluth. At this time we are going to delay our start times today for the Adventure Park to 12pm. It looks like we will see partly sunny skies this afternoon and chances for rain diminishes. We will continue to evaluate the current conditions, weather forecasts and provide you with additional details as soon as we can. In looking at the Bike Park, we need to wait and see how much more rain we get here this morning. Once the sun comes up and the rain patterns move out, we can get a better idea of where we stand on Bike Trails & Chairlift Operations. Please stay tuned as we will be posting updates as soon as we can. Adventure Park plan is to operate 12pm-6pm today.
1:00PM UPDATE: Well, we started out dry here this morning, but we've been dealing with some fog & mist here since around 10am. Things are beginning to clear up a bit as the breeze off the lake continues to lessen, so looks like we should see mainly cloudy skies and dry for the remainder of our Saturday session. The bike trails, chairlift, coaster and more will roll here until 6pm...come on up to the hill and enjoy the day! Stay tuned for Sunday updates as we continue to monitor the weather projections for overnight & tomorrow.
