Thursday, 23 March at 5am - It's been a fun-filled week here on the slopes, and make sure to check out our most recent SNOW REPORT VIDEO from Tuesday....still looking at 100% OPEN with full coverage on all slopes & parks....plus, a NEW reset in the ROPE PARK last night!  We have a few flurries around the region this morning, but mostly looking at an overcast day with temps into the mid-30s later today.  Looks like we could see some raindrops in the late-afternoon/early-evening hours, but nothing too riduculous and our plan is to keep rolling on.  The weekend looks pretty nice with partly sunny skies Friday thru Sunday, then chances of a little more precip late-Sunday.  Our day-time temps should be hitting the lower 40s Friday, then back into the mid-30s for both Saturday & Sunday....with overnight temps back below freezing every night (this is the KEY, and let's the snow "set-up" a bit!).  The snow is holding up pretty nicely, and should be another fun-filled snow day here on Thursday and all weekend long!  So, come on up and get after it!  Don't forget that BrewSki is ON for Saturday, and we'll continue to evaluate options for next week & beyond as all unfolds....looks somewhat promising for potential BONUS DAYS next week and into April!

Sunday, 19 March at 1pm - A super-fun week it's been, and now we roll into Spring Rates & Spring Hours!  Ski Hill Operating Hours are adjusted as follows for the week of March 20th-26th:  Monday-Friday 12pm to 7pm / Saturday & Sunday 9am to 6pm / plus, all-day lift ticket rates will be $39 all week long.  Snow-Tubing operations are closed for the season.  Operations beginning March 27th are to be determined.

The slopes & parks remain 100% open, and thanks to the recent snowfall this past week, the snow surface conditions are quite nice.  It looks like a pretty solid week ahead -- Monday will be very spring-like and another day in the 50's -- but then, we should see day-time temps back into the 30's most of the week & weekend with quite a bit of sunshine and overnight temps back under the freezing mark....this all leads to firmer snow conditions to start the day with softening conditions to end it!  We could see a little precip on Thursday/early-Friday, but all looks to clear-out by the weekend.  Still lots of "snow-fun" to be had here this week...hopefully you can join us!

--Please check our SNOW REPORT page for additional slope & park updates...these March days provide some great skiing with firmer conditions in the mornings and then softening as the day moves along!

 A few couple final things:

1 - How long will our ski season go?  As stated above, our plan is to go through Sunday, March 26 and then we will evaluate from there.  We are simply not entirely sure as much will depend upon how the weather unfolds along with our snow status.  So, we somewhat are in a position of wait & see as we draw towards the month's end....perhaps there are some BONUS DAYS in store for April...stay tuned, but our suggestion is GET OUT HERE NOW AND ENJOY!

2 - Why buy a Season Pass?  Answer, plain and simple, season passes save you money and offer you serious value as well as convenience!

  • A season pass purchased by April 1, 2017 for the 2017/2018 Winter Season can pay for itself in as few as FOUR visits!  Yes, 4 visits.
  • Passes are currently on-sale at the lowest rates of the year, and if you purchase now, you can add-on the remaining days of this season for the price of a single lift ticket!
  • We are proud to offer some of the absolute best-valued passes in the entire region.
  • Our NEW student pass is one of those "you asked-we listened" sort of passes.
  • Our family pass remains an outstanding value, plus the lay-away option may be a perfect option for some.
  • We also have great perks for our passholders; including sweet hook-ups with Crested Butte Mountain Resort, Mount Bohemia and Big Snow Resorts!  We are quite thankful to have partners such as in which each provide deeply-discounted opportunities for you to experience some of the most awesome experiences here in the midwest region as well as out in Colorado!
