Sweet Snow February!

Sunday, February 12 at 5:45am:

Stoked to welcome NEWSCHOOLERS Tell-A-Friend Tour to Duluth on this SundayFunday!  We did get a few flakes of snow overnight, and expect pretty nice slope & park conditions again here today.  It's a bit on the breezy-side this morning, so bundle up and enjoy today's offerings.  Due to the sustained & gusty conditions, there will be NO fat tire bike operations today.  See snow report for additional details on today's happenings.

Thanks to all you NIGHT OWLS for coming out to The Ski Hut late-night rope park sesh last night...good times for all!  Don't forget to mark those calendars for our 3rd Annual DAMAGE DAYS coming up next Friday & Saturday!

Saturday, February 11 @ 6:30am:  Welcome to the weekend, and Welcome to Spirit Mountain.  We're quite stoked to get today started becuase the conditions are absolutely wonderful!  The snow groomed out beautifully overnight, and you can expect some serious GOOD TIMES here on the slopes, in the terrain parks and at the snow tubing hill.  If you have been waiting for a snow day, today is it!  You need a Spirit Day!

Friday, February 10 at 11am:  Had a nice little dusting of snow overnight which continues the awesome stretch of stellar snow conditions here on the hill.  Plus, the sun is out and temps are pushing towards 30!  We're looking at a fantastic weekend of weather and amazing snow conditions....join us for what is truly going to be one of those CHOICE weekends to ski, snowboard, snowtube and downhill fat bike!  Don't forget to check the calendar below for our sweet events this weekend as well...enjoy!

Thursday, February 9 at 12pm:  Before I forget, it is COLLEGE DAY...$19 lift tickets all day, plus sweet deals on rental equipment, food, beverages & more...with live music in the Moosehead tonight!  It has been a pretty awesome week, and what a beautiful day here of sunshine & sweet snow!  Obvioulsy, we have been blessed with natural snow these past couple of weeks and the current conditions here on the slopes and in the parks are prime.  All is crazy-good here on the hill and this trend looks like it shall continue as we roll along.  We're going to see a nice little "bump" in temps here starting tomorrow and mostly looking at 30s during the day & 20s overnight...how perfect is that....oh yeah, plus, a few more snow chances start up again overnight Thursday, Friday and perhaps even over the weekend!

Wednesday, February 8 at 6:30am:  Happy SnowDay!  We ended up with right at 6" of NEW snow yesterday, plus a few more flurries went down overnight.  This puts our total snowfall to right at 16" over the past week and a half....which also puts smiles on many of our & your faces!  The slope conditions are PRIME with nearly perfect machine groomed packed powder along with lots of freshies to be found as well.  Looks like a couple of days here on the chilly side, but then we see daytime temps pushing back to the 30 mark beginning Friday & beyond...plus more snow chances starting Friday, too!  It's all good here, and certainly time for you to DO-Duluth...

The halfpipe is getting a fresh cut here this morning, and Spirit Park has received some nice re-shape & refresh efforts with special attention to the medium jumpline and new frontsides plus hopeful to see a few more elements going in this week, inlcuding the infamous "hundred footer"!  The Rope Park is also getting some major attention this week with resets & refresh efforts going down each night this week.  The crew will conintue making it happen to bring you the "Best Parks in the Region"....enjoy!

Don't forget about our sweet weekday specials, which include Student Nights, Senior Wednesdays, College Thursdays and more.  Plus, YOU can always GROUPIFY and enjoy savings with your crew!  Please scroll down a bit for the quick-links click and check out some of our upcoming events you definitely want to put on the calendar!

Tuesday, February 7 at 6:15am:  It's all SNOW here folks!  Flakes started falling around midnight, and looking right at 4" thus far with another 1"-3" possible here by Tuesday evening!  It's been blowing and snowing on the hill most of the overnight, so there will certainly be some sweet "stashes" and pow pockets out there to be had!  What an amazing way to start out the week with a Powder Tuesday, plus more snow is in the forecast as we roll into the weekend!

Monday, February 6 at 12pm:  What an awesome weekend of snow-fun we had here in the Northland!  The slopes, terrain parks, tubing hill and fat bike trails were ALL in fantastic shape for what was an EPIC shred all across the hill!  The even better news is that this awesomeness shall continue this week as we could see some significant snow fall.  The forecast shows 4"-8" over the next 48 hours, so we're in great shape for all skiers, boarders and fat bikers!  The terrain parks are dialed and will get some lovin' this week as we reshape and reset various features & elements, plus add a few new installations as well.  The slopes are in the best shape of the entire season, so please make those plans to hit up Duluth here as soon as possible!

Looking ahead for the next few weeks, we have big things happening on the hill!  Below are just some of the upcoming events hosted at Spirit Mountain, so prepare to have some fun!
