Our annual Job Fair was held in early November. Winter jobs include: Café workers, cooks, bussers, bartenders, servers, rental attendants, ski/board instructors, lift operators, security, snowmakers, bus drivers, and corral workers. Most of our openings are for weekends and holidays, and the positions run from mid-December through March, and sometimes mid-April depending on the weather. Most positions are part time.

Snowmakers are hired earlier (weather dependent). You may email Kurt Blegen at kblegen@spiritmt.com if you are interested in a Snowmaking position.

Employee rate season passes are $15.75. If you have already purchased a pass, you will receive a refund upon being hired.

Guest Services Volunteers
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are, or have been skiers and/or snowboarders, or who have a good understanding of these activities. Most importantly, Guest Service Team candidates should enjoy being with and helping people. We strive to find individuals who want to share their passion for the sport of skiing or riding and a love of Spirit Mountain and the surrounding area. School Program Volunteer Instructors
We are looking for Volunteer Instructors for our Grade School Ski Program and our After School Ski Program for the 08/09 season. These programs begin in January and run through the end of March. Call (218)624-8516 for more information.

Ski / Snowboard Instructors
We are looking for Instructors with Lots of Enthusiasm, good communication skills, a love for the sport of Skiing/Boarding, committed, and on time. Spirit Mountain Ski Patrol Volunteers

To work at Spirit Mountain, you must have two forms of I.D., or a passport, or proof that you can legally work in the United States. We do have some positions open for 14 to 16 year olds with restricted hours as required by law. Some jobs require an age limit of 18 years old. The pay range is $7.25 to $8.00 for most first year employees with some exceptions. All employees must have a Direct Deposit into a checking or savings account. A voided check or savings account number must be given to Payroll when hired. Spirit Mountain is an equal opportunity employer.
